When does the trend turn?

So when you are enjoying food and overeating and had your fill of holiday food and bread pudding on top of several months of not watching your caloric intake, your body is showing the effects in various places, pretty much different for everyone. In my case it really shows up in my face.
When you start a diligent plan (the right way, exercise, CICO, using MFP) how long do you think it takes for the body to quit adding the fat to your places, in my case my face!
I am looking at Christmas pictures, and my weight is lower now, but I am pretty sure it looks like my face is still adding to the extra chin I have developed. Maybe it is visually psychological. I know it will soon go the other way, but just wondering what you all think is time frame for the body to STOP adding to our places.
Not looking for how long it takes to show up (that was kindly answered in my other post). This is more the body in general and how long the "pipe" takes to clear itself out. Thanks.

Great question. Eat body is different and in my experience each weight loss can be different as well. While CI<CO will result in weight loss the body doesn't always take inches equally from our surface area. There is no way I am aware of to predict where it will leave first. Detailed measurements will give a more realistic result than visual. Sometimes a loss in one area will give the impression that another area has spread because the relationship to the other. For example if I lose inches in my chest and hips, it would be easy to mistake it visually as a gain in my waist.2

It's started showing in my face around 15-20lbs. But everyone is different.0
