Hi all,

I've recently weened myself off coffee and have a hard time with energy levels at the moment, is there any food I can eat that can give me the energy I need to beat the post lunch slump?

Thanks

Low energy can be caused by lack of sleep and could be a "sugar crash," too.

Some people find that exercising over lunch helps, even just a brisk walk outside.

Why no coffee? I drink 1-3 cups a day to help keep me warm and keep the munchies away.

A vitamin b12 tablet might help.

I tried b12 but they delayed my periods so don't want to use them anymore.

No coffee as I get bad withdraws and caffeine isn't great for the body

Calories are a unit of energy.

    Have some of those.

Not trying to be smart. Just saying that you can have what you want. Best wishes.

A glass of orange juice is helpful for me. I don't know if that'd be the case for everyone though!
