should i adjust the recommended setting of carb-40% and protein -30% of mfp to carb 30 and protein 40? i dont get it why carb is higher if we need to lose weight. i think it can cause more flabbiness.

Carbs don't cause fat gain, excess calories do. Play with the percentages to see what works best for you.6

Yep, you can eat anything! But of course, focus on nutrient dense foods first before going for the goodies.3

If anything, you should look at macros in terms of grams.
Protein - .8 to 1g per lb of lbm
Fats - .35 to .6g per lb of lbm
Carbs - the rest
Carbs and fats a re a bit more variable. Meaning you can adjust based on personal satiety, compliance and goals. But carbs definitely do not make you fat. If someone tells you that, they dont understand how things work.1
