"Most weight loss occurs because of decreased caloric intake.
However, evidence shows the only way to maintain weight loss is to be engaged in regular physical activity."

- Set small intermediate goals & celebrate every one.
- Take measurements.
- Take pictures.
- Weigh yourself regularly.
- Be flexible; forgive yourself.
- Celebrate the non-scale victories (NSV's)
- Don't give up!!!!
- Don't make any food forbidden.
- Eat real food; less processed is better.1 -
Also, congrat's on the wedding.
With a short time remaining, it would be best to focus on weights, with some cardio, as that would produce visible changes in the shortest time. Don't go overboard & aim for 2 lb a week if all you want is to lose 20 lb.
Also consider that you might need the dress altered. Don't stress yourself out any more than you already are by trying to reach an unattainable weight goal, which might also lead to being ill.0 -
Hello. This is day one for me. I just started the food dairy. That alone is an eye-opener and it's kind of time consuming but a must. This way one can see what they are putting in their mouth all day. I start a weight loss group on January 9 and the food dairy is how they want us to start. Click on food and start your dairy. Then add any exercise you may do and one can see where they are lacking. Good luck. I too have a lot to lose.0
