Hello everyone my name is Stephanie. I am trying to lose weight that I have been stuck with for years. For about 4 years I have been stuck at the same weight and haven't found a solution. I am hoping that using MFP will help me reach my goals. I have had 4 major back surgeries in my short 31 years so exercise can prove to be difficult. 3 days ago I decided it was time to make a change and live with the pain exercise causes and make myself a better person. and the tools help keep you accountable by tracking what you eat

Excercise doesn't have to equal pain. There are things such as eliptical or arc trainers that are low to no impact as well as swimming and water aerobics. I would strongly suggest visiting a physical therapist and getting a routine from a professional who can give you a good workout without killing yourself.0 -

welcome! You might find that exercise will actually help your pain. it has for me I used to have constant back pains, stomach aliments and now they are all gone.0

Thanks! I have never been a big eater, just snacking here and there. I am now forcing myself to eat breakfast. Pills make for an upset stomach in the morning so I haven't eaten breakfast on a regular basis in years. Thanks for your support:)0
