I need motivation to go exercise

I know it sounds silly that I can't just motivate myself but.. I am really tired so I thought maybe some friendly people might be able to encourage me/give me good reason to go. Please help! I think I'm so unmotivated because I haven't seen the scale move this week despite lots of self control and working out =/

Every time I need motivation I look at the photos I took when I started. Or I look in the mirror and see my work in progress and want to finish it.0

Understandable. Start with a small walk.. then pick up the pace. enjoy the night air! I just went for a leisurely bike ride, then ended up wearing myself out!
Start small, my friend!0 -
Give yourself a break...after all, look at how much fun you were when you didn't do anything. You felt tired all the time and you hated yourself. Do you want to go back to that..or do you want to make a new better version of you...if you choose to be a better you then you need to put you first. After all what can you teach your kids if you don't believe in your own self worth! You deserve to be happy..now get up and gimme 20...lol0

This might sounds mean but look in the mirror. That's what I do. I take a good hard look at myself; rember what I was, see where I am and picture where I want to be. That is what helps keep me going.
Also you can set a goal for yourself. I had done that too. something like I have to walk x amount of minutes a week or workout x amount of times. But be realistic don't set a crazy unatainable goal.
Now i'm picking races or events I have to train for, just another way to motivate myself to keep going.
Good luck.. You can do it!!0 -
You don't "need" motivation to workout. What you need is to just do it.0

I felt like that today. Then I forced myself off my butt and to the gym and I felt absolutely wonderful after it!! It made my whole day so much better!
Just do it!!0 -
Remember how good you feel afterward? Sore, sweaty, but kinda glowing? That's endorphins-exercise will lift your mood.0

I've been gaining and losing the same 5 pounds for about 6 months now, it's very frustrating ... BUT think of how much healthier your body is and how much more you can do with and for your children, a healthier you makes a longer life for you (and your children)0
