Hello and HELP!! I've been serious and dedicated for 3 months to lose weight and get into shape. I've been walking 2 1/2 miles everyday. I bought a treadmill last week to increase the intensity. I've been eating high protein, medium good fats and extremely low carbs. BUT, I've only loss 10lbs in 3 months!!! In the past when I need to lose weight and get back in shape, I'd use this formula and the pounds would melt off. I've had back and neck surgery and deal with chronic pain so I'm limited in my exercise. Does anyone have suggestions?? Please and thank you!!

What are your stats and how much do you eat per day? 10lbs in 3 months really isn't a bad start!

I don't know how far you have to go......but 10 pounds in 3 months sounds like great progress (even factoring in the water weight loss from low carb).

    Pound per week goals
75+ lbs set to lose 2 lb range
Between 40 - 75 lbs set to lose 1.5 lb range
Between 25-40 lbs set to lose 1 lb range
Between 15-25 lbs set to lose 1 -.50 lb range
Less than 15 lbs set to lose 0.5 lbs range

Just make lifestyle changes and the weight will come off - and stay off.

I imagine you are putting on and toning muscle too, that is double the weight of fat. As long as you avoid the crap and keep the walking etc it has to work!. Keep at it and stay motivated!!

Highly unlikely. As we lose weight we lose fat AND lean muscle mass, this is normal. Many people add strength training (keep the deficit moderate, meet protein goals) to hold onto a larger % of existing lean muscle. I don't see where OP is strength training.

as long as you are eating the right amount of calories its fine. the less weight you have to lose, the slowly it comes off. ive hit a plateau for months as im closer to my goal. and believe me it took me just over 5 months to lose 15lbs so its normal. the longer it takes the better we will be able to maintain it. good luck hun
