Yea, I've done it. It didn't do anything but burn more calories. It sort of tired me out and I was sweaty a lot. But if it works with your schedule and you enjoy it, there's nothing wrong with it.0

I do it on weekends because I dont work on weekends and I use it to compensate for the fact that Im not at work all day long burning those extra calories. However, dont feel like it's going to be the make or break of your goals. Like many people on here will tell you, you need certain cals and if you work out it just means you'll need to eat more to get those cals in. On the other hand, being fit is great. I do cardio every day and I love it but I really dont have time for twice a day.0

Yep. I am in a boot camp right now with my personal trainer on Sat, Mon, Tues, Thurs, but my running days are Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have been trying to figure out a way to do my runs on other days, because it is pretty tiring, but it's possible if you have the time. It was kinda tough for me, but it's definitely possible!
Oh yeah, the only other downfall is that you get to do twice as much laundry! My workout clothes are always just soaked with sweat and I can't use them again. :laugh:0 -

Sometimes I do hard cardio during the day and walk 2 miles at nights...when I am able, I feel alot better, and I swear I was getting results..0

Funny i was just thinking about hoping back on the elliptical for 20 more minutes tonight!!!
Cannot see the harm in it?
Ate dinner stayed within calories for the day no problem but feeling overfull thought that it might help.0 -
I am finding that it is helping me break a plateau, so I say, if you have the time and energy, why not!

If you can fit it in it certainly can't hurt. I rode my bike 22 miles today and walked 4. I feel great!0

I used to do cardio twice a day when I was really trying to shed the pounds fast. It works but just make sure you are fueling your body.0

I do cardio twice daily during the week. I shoot for 300 cals burned each cardio workout. I also do a short strength training session twice daily. I agree that getting enough fuel is essential. It's amazing how the body responds to proper quality and amount of food. When I shed the holiday fat, I will back off the cardio a bit, and add more strength training.0

I've been doing it for a few days now. I do an aerobics video in the morning and ride my bike at night, or vice versa. Some of the nights I replace the bike with the Couch to 5K Program. I'm definitely finding it easier to do the routines now, but I don't sweat like I thought I would. It's hard for me to get the sweat going.
Other than that I feel great. I have more energy during the day. Stopped coffee completely, and soda.
I think I'm in a plateau though cuz the scale hasn't moved, which is very unnerving with weigh in tomorrow.0 -
Thanks so much for the info! I will keep you guys posted on the results!0

I do water aerobics on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and ride my exercise bike every other morning except on Sunday. Then in the afternoons I walk about 2 to 3.5 miles every day except Friday when I go bowling with the kids. I feel wonderful, actually never felt better. In the afternoons I tend to get sleepy but the afternoon exercise wakes me up and gets me going.0
