Any advice or tips how I can make this diet work?

Hi all :) I'm getting married in August this year and I'd really like to lose the weight I gained from having my child. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I'm completely new to this app and only started today. Ideally I want to lose 1 stone by the wedding. Thank you :) x

    Log everything! I personally don't have one, but most people use a kitchen scale to actually measure food so it is more accurate. I personally find that focusing on eating more protein/veggies works for me, but as long as you are eating equal to or under the calories MFP shows, you will lose weight. On that note, still make sure to eat ENOUGH as well. MFP adjusts your daily calories to help with the goal you set (if you want to lose 1 lb/week, it'll adjust your calories to meet that goal!). Lastly, if you exercise, don't eat 100% of those calories, usually it is overestimated, but you can see what works for you as time goes on. You may find you want to eat half of them or so.
