So these days you hear a lot about increasing your fiber... But when I change the tabs on my account to show how much fiber I am consuming per day, myfitnesspal recommends me to have 14g. When I eat more than that, it actually shows like I've overdone it. I know the daily value recommended is about 25g/ day. Why is my goal for fiber intake so low?? Do you think it will affect my weight loss if I consume more??

You can change your goal to reflect what you want to consume in fiber. Go home, goals, change goals, custom, and change the fiber to 25 or 35 whatever you want it to be. I changed mine to 35 to reflect what they say is good weight loss fiber intake. Hope that helps!:flowerforyou:

This was very helpful, because I too try and cosume somewhere between 25- 30 grams. I continuously go over on the protein too though.0 -
The "view full report (printable)" green button at the bottom of your food diary page takes you to the next page of your diary and fiber is the last category - MFP automatically keeps track of fiber on that page.
