Day 10 - I have lost a little and after lots of grit in the gym I'm starting to feel the difference in my energy and motivation-my daily goal 1200 cals 50% protein 25% complex carbs 25% veggies and work out in some capacity every day from walking to circuit training to high cardio! Want to lose 20 lbs and find my muscles I seem to have lost them somewhere-lol

I am eating a similar Macronutient profile as you are.. I am on 50% protein, 25% Carb and 25% fats. 6 lbs down in 4 days but the first week is always a really big loss. Its the months to come that I struggle. Good luck! My overall goal is 61 lbs... 55 more to go!

Hang in there - yes the weight comes off easiest at first. I do find my food cravings are already better and my body is adjusting to the change in eating habits - I find protein the hardest to eat enough of because I'm not much of a meat eater.

We will be so happy when we are toned and feel great about ourselves! Keep up the good work!

you dont have to eat meat to get protein. you can get it from tofu, seitan, nuts, beans, legumes, seeds. greek yogurt, dairy products, quinoa, buckwheat, soy, high protein breads(like Ezekiel bread),hummus, eggs, nut butters, hempseed, chia and so on.

try different kinds. where I live the stores only sell the store brand and one or two others(rural area). I get the extra firm kind.read up on how to prepare it and there are many ways to cook it. I prepare mine.cut it and bake it.there are many ways to cook it so experiment with different recipes.
