I've always loved a good TV series... what's everyone's faves (be it past or present)?

I've finally bought the entire boxset of The Sopranos as it regularly tops polls and I've only ever seen one episode (ages ago and gave up). So wondering if it will make my own list.

Some of my past and present faves:

-Six Feet Under
-The Wonder Years
-Skins
-Family Guy
-Breaking Bad
-Dexter (although the final episode was awful)
-House of Cards
-Game of Thrones
-Girls
-Orange is the New Black
-Black Mirror
-The Walking Dead (although this past series has put me right off)
-Wishbone (days of being a child...loved that dog)

And I've only seen Series 1 of 'The Wire' but that was pretty badass.

It's a UK show and after numerous repeats at Christmas I should hate it but Only Fools and Horses.

The Wire, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos are my holy trinity. After that my casual favorites are Twin Peaks, Community, Bored to Death, Martin, MTV The Challenge, Better Call Saul.

There was also a really good show with Kelsey Grammer playing a Chicago mayor with a progressing mental illness. It was amazing but got cancelled after one season. If you liked the politics season of The Wire, you would like this.

Malcolm in the Middle was my fav; just so, so funny. And Hannibal was a legitimately scary, artsy gem. And Oz, because.. Ryan O'Reily.

Fawlty Towers if you like Classic British Stuff (John Clease is amazing)
    Seinfeld is epic
    Friends is decent, always entertaining

My daughters (21 and 18) loved One Tree Hill but its a little too 90210, Dawson's Creek, The OC for me.
