Inputting servings in recipes

I'm just wondering when putting in recipes how I can do it so that rather then guessing how many servings it is I can just input the weight of how much of that recipe I had.

If you put in the total weight as the number of servings then when you dish it out one serving will equal one gram.

For example: pot of chili is 2000g. If I eat 245g, I would enter 245 servings.

Ok. So you'd weigh the entire recipe and just put in what that is as the serving?

Put the total weight as the number of servings. So a 2000g recipe would be 2000 servings at one gram per serving.

The recipe builder just asks for number of servings not actual serving size. So doing it this way will make it easy to input how much you eat. No extra math involved.

Hope that's clearer. I'm on my phone and try to keep posts short. I hate typing in this thing. :)

Haha I hear you on that.

But that's actually perfect. I get it now and that's helpful. I get so frustrated putting in recipes because I'm like ... ugh I don't know how many servings this will or should be. Thanks for the help!
