Blood pressure and food..

I was wondering if anyone who has high blood pressure finds when they dont eat much their blood pressure is higher the next day.

    No. Mine got lower. There's many different causes. Go see a doctor.

    Mine is actually lower too. I assume it is because of less sodium and fewer carbs thus less water retention.

    I never ate less carbs or sodium yesterday. I seen my dr im on bp meds just i find when i eat less calories yestetday 1300 im 377 pounds and today it was up some.

    Your blood pressure rises and falls for many reasons. Stress...food intake...exercise...sleep...etc...etc...

    Even at what time of the day will affect the reading you get. Make sure that you haven't eaten, drank anything or did any vigorous exercise 30 minute prior to taking your pressure.

    Do you monitor it at home? If so just keep a log and when it fluctuates try too associate that with whatever has gone in in your life.
