Ok..so Ive finished 30 day shred and started ripped in 30 today. Jumped on the scales and............ have actually gained weight. My stupid horrible jelly belly is still....well.... wobbling. Yes, I can see feel my legs are more tomed but that is about it. Feel utterly deflated and sad right now. Am eating around my calorie allowance and naking sure I am doing loads more walking at work. Just sick of looking like a small whale. Am 5'1 and weigh 145 pounds.... really need to lose about 20 pounds as am so tiny. God this is hard. Was not expecting miracles but........

ps... that one miserly pound I lost... well it went back on

Can you make your food log available so we can look at it?

Have you measured yourself at all? Maybe you have lost inches? :)

You have replaced fat with muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat. Don't get discouraged you will lose the weight that you want by exercising and eating right. You can do it.

I too am 5'1" and have fighting off 140lbs. I did 4 months of JM 30DS without any weigh loss, and only minimal inch loss, and my belly is my trouble zone too... I got so discouraged that I quit all together, for 2 months and continued getting more depressed about the way I looked, until I started running (which I HAAAAATE) 3 wks ago and have already lost 4lbs, and an inch off my belly. I've come to the conclusion that JM is for people already in general shape who just want to tone. Cardio is what you and I need. Hopefully, this encourages you and we can both lose the belly jiggle! Good luck!

I'm also 5'1 and weight 146 lbs right now.....I understand your frustration of having a petite body and not seeing any changes. But as some of the other people have commented, have you measured yourself lately? There is a good chance you might've lost some inches, which in my mind, is better than watching the numbers drop. You have also most likely gained a bit of muscle from that workout, which would be a good reason as to why the numbers have not changed.

Don't be so hard on yourself. That's great that you lost a pound. You didn't put the weight on over nite. Your sure not going to lose it that soon. Keep it up the first 30 days is the hardest. Your body is in a state of shock. You will notice probably in the next week or two. The pounds will melt off. As long as you are eating rite. Good luck to you. Feel free to add me as a friend.
