Any JJ Virgin Dieters?

I have lost 70 pounds in 5 months doing the JJ Virgin Diet. Love it; but I was in a car accident that led to me not being able to exercise like I was and I gained about 10 back. I'm trying to lose the 10 and finish my weight loss journey with the last 20 pounds too. I'm 5'4.5", 39 years old, and carry the majority of my weight around my middle and thighs. I previously liked doing Zumba, but it's too hard for me to continue that with my neck issues. I think I'm forced to only walk, which is frustrating because I don't burn as many calories that way. I don't consume corn, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, sugar or peanuts. This has been primarily the majority of my weight loss. I need to get the last 30 pounds off. I don't think 130 pounds is unreasonable for my height. Anyone else on JJ Virgin Diet that got through a plateau?

What a great job to have lost 70 pounds. Very inspirational to me. I just started JJ Virgin's sugar impact on December 31st and have lost 8 pounds in 8 days, without exercise. I have a lot of weight to lose, 75 pounds. I'm 58 and have bad knees. I'm going to start walking. I understand your frustration not being able to workout. I was very active till I dislocated my knee a year ago. I'm wondering if Virgin 's diet and her Sugar Impact diet differ. Perhaps you are getting more hidden sugar? Otherwise, please hang in there. Recovery takes time. I think you are pretty amazing to have lost the amount of weight you have lost already. Remember it's only a number and being healthy and happy is the ultimate goal0

I like her methods/theories. She is trying to eliminate inflammatory foods from your diet, but these same foods are also foods that MANY people are allergic to! Great job! Keep up the progress!
Don't worry so much about exercising! I was forced to stay desk bound for 6 months in an academy (literally no exercise except going back and forth to class rooms) and I lost so much weight because they only allowed us to eat 3x a day for 10 minutes a time. Now I run 80 miles a week and lift heavy weights and just continue to gain weight because I eat 2,200 cals a day!0 -
Hello everyone. I did the JJ Virgin 2 years ago and lost 45 pounds. I then put 10 lbs back on and have now just completed my 3 weeks of elimination. In the past 3 weeks I have lost 9 pounds. Yesterday I put eggs back into my diet with so far no reaction. I love this diet and hope to stay on phase 1 after I do phase 2 and then move onto the sugar impact diet. Also, I have started walking and adding strength exercises at the gym. Glad to see all of you here. Good luck to us all.0
