Lupus and overweight

Hi, I have lupus and it has done a number on my body. With all the meds and not working since I was 35, I have gained a lot of weight. I have not been over weight all my life and it has become very depressing to be this size. Well, finally I've decided to get serious about my health. I quit smoking over a year ago after heart failure and a pacemaker. Looking for support and encouragement while I take this journey.
