For the past few days I have been seriously bloated. I don't only look it, but really feel it. I've been trying to drink enough water. It's not the TOM. Been keeping an eye on my sodium, except for last night. I have not been to the gym in a little over a week because I have been bogged down by finishing my online class, which is over now thank god. Either way, I was literally on my butt alllllll week that I feel like I was starting to get bed sores. But I ate under my calorie goal during that time...

Anyway, I look huge and feel huge. I should be getting a little more exercise this week but I am staying at someone else's house so it will be difficult to eat certain things.

What the heck happened to me?

i wonder if it's the stress hormone (cortisol?) wreaking havoc on your system. that SUCKS. push through the week and get back to your regular eating/exercising routines when the week is up. you can do it, girlie :o)

It's possible. I did have a stressful week.... with class ending and things between me and my boyfriend.... I did drink alcohol one night but haven't drank in almost two months. Hopefully my stomach will go back down... I feel so huge... I wish I just knew exactly what was wrong so I could fix it...

I am a student myself and I know at the end of classes when I am stressed I won't lose and may even gain a few pounds from stress and little sleep. Get some rest and sqeeze some fresh lemon in water it helps with water retention and will speed your metabolism too but will help with the bloat.

You need a little R and R is all. It iwll all work out

TMI question, but ... are you constipated?
Sometimes when we miss out on our workout routine and/or are under stress, it can really affect our bowel function. And even mild constipation can cause all the bloating look and feeling you're describing.
If this could be the problem, up your water intake, eat plenty of fiber (any fresh fruits and veggies will help ... and prunes are a sweet treat that for me feels like a sinful indulgence, they may just help do the trick) and definitely get exercising again (regular cardio seems to help regulate function, just experience, no research)
