My name is Jess and I'm 34. I have something called Ehler-Danlos Syndrome, a genetic connective tissue disorder, that makes working at harder.
Hitting my mid-30's, I packed on all the weight I lost several years ago plus another 25 pounds. I just started my lifestyle change again and in 1 week I've managed to drop 7 pounds of flab and water weight.
Just here hoping to add a few new friends to help me keep motivated, maybe someone else who has difficulties like me.

Welcome Jess! I'd love to be another support buddy if you need one. I'm 31 and have nothing but being fat as an excuse to not workout. When you get so heavy it's hard to get motivated when you spend the next 24 hours in pain from working out. Everyone says it gets easier as you lose weight and get healthier but they all say it like it's an easy peasy thing and in 5 days I'll be this amazing workout powerhouse. I walk every Friday with a friend and have done 3 5ks in the last few years and I still hurt. I find its easier to have someone that doesn't want to quit but understands just how Frickin hard it is to workout sometimes.0
