Okay everyone I'm needing some help. I would like to increase MFP daily recomendation from 1200 calorie a day. I'm not losing any weight but losing inches. Currently I workout 3x a week doing cardio and jillian michaels ripped in 30. I have followed the 1200 guideline for about 25 days and have eaten even less but have not seen any significant weight loss. What am I doing wrongs? Here are my stats

BMI= 26.1
BMR= 1373
workout 3x week (walking 2-3 miles and jm ripped in 30
current weight = 157
height 5'5
goal= 135lbs (perfers not to be too thin :)
Any recommendations on calories/carbs/protein/fat per day will be great.
Thanks everyone!

    have you thought about upping your daily calorie requirements a little? You might not be eating enough. If I dont eat enough,even though Im working out like a madwoman,the scale doesnt move.

    Based on your age, height, and current weight your BMR is 1635, not 1373. Then based on your activity level you calculate from there.

    Based on your BMR and a MODERATE activity level I have you burning roughly 2400 calories a day. To lose 1-1.5lbs per week you should be eating 1650-1900 calories a day. I would start at 1600 calories a day, eat that amount every day for 2 weeks and make sure to hit your macros and then re-evaluate from there.

    Can you give us a bit more info, or make your diary public?

    It doesnt seem like you have too much to lose, so any loss is going to be slow - are you being too impatient in wanting to shed pounds quickly?

    You said you're losing inches, which is more important. You are likely building lean muscle mass with your exercise so your weight may not drop but your body fat percentage is.
