I'm replacing two meals a day with smoothies in the weird limbo between holidays, so I'm trying to stay interested with just chocolate and vanilla protein powders. I'm so happy this thread exists! I'm going to try ALL of these Here are my two favorites right now. (Can you tell I have a wicked sweet tooth?)
REESE'S CUP SMOOTHIE
Chocolate protein powder (I use Orgain)
2 tbsp. "PB2" powdered peanut butter
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 c. Silk chocolate cashew milk
1/2 tsp. chia seeds
Fill with water and blend.
CARROT CAKE SMOOTHIE
Vanilla protein powder (I use Orgain)
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 tsp. chia seeds
Handful of baby carrots
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. unsweetened shredded coconut
1/2 c. plain yogurt (I use Fage 0%)
Fill with water and blend.
BOOM. These are so yummy!2 -
2 cups frozen mixed berries
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Almond milk/water/juice to desired thickness
I'm lazy.2 -
I love all of these. These are vegan recipes but you could easily just use milk.

Made one this morning using..
1 banana, 1 cup of spinach and kale, 1 cup mixed berries i used( raspberries, strawberries, blueberries) 1 cup of water.
Its actually pretty good. Only thing i wish was different are the seeds in it. But hey i got myself and my daughter to eat spinach!

I use this same combo but add avocado. It is great!0 -
Here's a new one I tried! It's thick so if you don't want a smoothie bowl just thin it out with water, juice, milk or yogurt while blending.

Tried this new one this morning since I have an abundance of frozen blueberries. Very good but make sure to get a bunch of frozen blueberries at costco otherwise each serving will be wildly expensive.
my ingredient list is modified to make it better but: http://ahealthylifeforme.com/blueberry-avocado-and-spinach-superfood-smoothie/
1 cup blueberries, frozen or fresh
1 cup fresh spinach leaves
1 cup almond milk
½ ripe avocado, skinned and pitted
1 tablespoon chia seeds
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon vitafiber
1 scoop protein, choc or vanilla would be good
probiotic packet "supergreens, detox and digest"1 -
I make the best smoothies. I don't measure anything and just throw a ton in!
Bananas
Chia
Spinach
Berries
Frozen fruit
Yogurt, sure
Peanut butter, awesome
Line, go for it
Smoothies are the best cause they're so easy. That or I'm magical0 -

I make a smoothie similar to this, ends up being about 800 cals.. but I am trying to gain so it works for me. So if your goal is weightloss and you aren't losing you may want to start weighing the ingredients.
Otherwise carry-on0
