Things that make me happy today...

When I was on WW, I used to post my happy list every day on the message board. I always try to come up with 10 things to really keep things in perspective.

Hope y'all don't mind if I continue it here! Please add your own lists!!!

1. My snuggly sweet puppygirl.
2. My new job that starts in a week!!
3. Getting to spend this week on the coast.
4. Feel good sports stories.
5. Dinner with my niece tonight.
6. Feeling in control of my food.
7. Grilled shrimp.
8. My ankle is healing - slowly but surely.
9. Hanging out with my parents today.
10. The most amazing friends & family in the world!

    Today, I'm happy that you are happy.
    I'm happy I took both my dogs out for walks.
    I'm happy to that the scale said I lost 4 pounds!
    I'm happy when I can control my food/sodium.
    I'm happy to get an ealry workout in so I can enjoy the rest of my day.
    I'm happy my whole family is home and safe.
    I'm happy my husband is putting up my new blinds.
    I'm happy that my house is clean enough for the doorbell to ring!
    I'm happy today is going by at a slow pace.
    I'm happy that MFP exists and I have the best supportive friends!!

    I love this idea!!

    1. Getting up before noon! :P
    2. My gargantuan dog, and her friend (petsitting another large dog)
    3. My kitty
    4. My husband's best friend, who is staying with us this weekend
    5. My husband!
    6. A leak in the wall that we can repair ourselves, for little cost
    7. My shift at work is almost half over
    8. Having my meals planned out for the day, and being under my calorie limit
    9. It's hot outside!!
    10. My scale showed 1 lb down this morning!!

    Hm.. I'll give it a go..

    1. Not having to work today.
    2. Sleeping in.
    3. Getting some solid studying/practice completed.
    4. Control over food.
    5. 30 Day P90X Progress Picture.
    6. The incredible support and motivation from my MFP friends. <3
    7. Knowing I should only have one more week to cram for boards and then it'll be over. (Hopefully)
    8. A nice, hot, relaxing shower without the rush of being somewhere afterward.
    9. Reminiscing with friends.
    10. An evening alone to regroup before the upcoming work week.

    Coming up with ten was hard.. Maybe I'll limit to 5 for now on. :P

    Good idea, though.. It's very important to keep reminding ourselves of the good things going on since there is a tendency to focus on the bad (like how STRESSED OUT I AM). :wink:

    Great idea!

    It's the little things, right? Today I went shopping and got some paint & supplies to paint my condo (it's a yellow colour and I HATE it!) and I got a new garbage can. I know that shouldn't be really exciting but I hate the under-sink one I currently have and a functional life makes a woman happy, right?!

    1. lost 2.3 pounds, yay!
    2. going for a walk with the dad
    3. saying no to chocolate even though i had the cals for it but was full
    4. my laundry's done
    5. the sun shining today
    6. the lazy song by bruno mars
    7. flowers in the kitchen
    8. the shower i had this morning
    9. playing guitar hero (no nerd haters ;D)
    10. that it's sunday although tomorrow's monday, eek!

    This is a lovely thread.

    1. My boyfriend is washing up whilst I'm putting my feet up.
    2. Knowing I worked my butt off today.
    3. Watching my kitty attack a plastic bag (and now chasing his brother around the house).
    4. Camomile and spiced apple tea.
    5. I got some chores done and the house is clean now.
    6. Having a long lay-in.
    7. Not snacking on bad stuff today.
    8. Some very nice texts from my boyfriend whilst he was working.
    9. Talking about Harry Potter (it always make me happy).
    10. All those brilliant success stories on MFP.

    4 I have lost 3 1/2 stone

    7 the fact that people love me
    8 I have managed to stay under my goal today again
    9 I am getting my liffe back
    10 I am happier than I have been in a very long time

    Sorry I'm jumping on here so late, but I wanted to do this, too! ;)

    1. Had a fun birthday Tuesday
    2. Spend time with people I don't get to see much these days
    3. My kitty Angel is happy I'm back home
    4. My fiance is coming over to watch a movie tonight
    5. Got back into my Ripped in 30 workout after having a break due to health issues, which are gone now! Yay!
    6. It's not as hot as it was last week.
    7. I finally broke away from my plateau!
    8. I really enjoy counting calories and working out
    9. I feel stronger, smaller, and better
    10. I am giving my body what it deserves and I'm excited for the future. :)

    8. The fish in my new pond are finally getting used to the idea that humans are not out to kill them
    7. Harley (cat) let me give him his thyroid medicine without much fuss this morning.
    6. It's gross outside, but Tank (bearded dragon) will LOVE sitting outside nomming on clovers later
    5. ....the AC is running and for the first time in days I am not sweating from sitting still. lol
    4. Seeing all the ferrets passed out but looking happy now that the AC is running
    3. Support from friends both online and off
    2. The crazy guy laying next to me
    1. Ghost (ferret) was gagging a lot but it turned out to just be a hairball and not serious blockage


    I just realized how much of my list revolves around my critters
