I know every day or week may not show the scale tipping in my favor, but was hoping for a definite drop this week. Little disappointed. But happy that I finished the 10K I resolved to

Hoping for a weighing-scale victory this week too

    Did you check your measurements?

On the other hand, it's not all scales and tape measures. It's improving the way you feel in your own body and you doing that 10k, I'm sure, was one of those boosts!

Congrats! And keep up the incredible work!

Congrats on the 10K! You should start preparing to try a half marathon, you'll love it.

    Thanks Guys! you are awesome.
My next is going to be a 12K this Sunday.
Given that I am pretty heavy at this point (can't run for a long time yet - this will ruin my knees), I walk for the most part. So I guess I should be calling it a Walkathon
My goal is to lose enough in the coming year so that I can actually "run" the whole marathon. In the meanwhile, I am aiming to keep on finishing marathons (walk + run a bit) and lose enough to run all the way in next year's marathons.

P.S., The scale IS showing some movement now. heh heh. Glad about that.
Also, my measurements are also showing better numbers

Also....got about 16 people from my office to sign up this time. The number is up from 6 the last time around.
    Cheers!!
    Let's all keep going......................
