Hey all again,

I thought I would add a low fat treat since I am asking previously for not so low fat recipie's!

Trick I learned from weight watchers online......

I cake mix ( I use devils food)
1 can of diet pepsi

Mix and bake that is it! Don;t use any diet sodas with splenda it will leave a little after taste not so yummy.

For Frosting I use Ultra low fat cool whip.

Also sometimes I want cake and dont have it soooooooooo hear goes, this may sound weird but it really works! Take 4 TBSP of any cake mix ( i use choc) and Mix with a little water, just enough to get it to a thick batter, then microwave it for 1 minute. I top with low fat frozen yogurt or cool whip, sometimes I will throw some mini marshmallows in there to make it more interesting. The cake alone is about 100 calories...................enjoy!

for the frosting you can mix the fat free cool whip with a package of ff/sf pudding and spread on top

    Bump! Yum thanks ladies.
  • The microwave cake sounds really great! Making just a small cake would keep me from eating the huge entire cake! Thanks for the idea :)

Thanks, sometimes I crave chocolate cake sooo bad.

    Here's another one from WW.

1 can Lite Cherry Pie Filling
1 box Angel food cake mix

Mix the two ingrediants.......pour into 9 x 12 pan. Bake about 30 minutes or till done. This cakes rises a LOT!
Top with FF Kool whip. Delicious!! Even my college age stepson thought that dessert was fantastic!

My grandmother always made one similar that is one box of spice cake mix and one can of pumpkin (just pumpkin, not pumpkin pie mix). It stirs up thick and a tiny bit lumpy, but she made muffins out of it for breakfast. I find they are better the second day for some reason. The first day they always taste "boxed" to me. But the second day they are sweet and cinnamon-y and very low fat.

We're a non-microwave family so thanks for this recipe!
