Traveled last week for work (ate out too much), then had Christmas this week (ate out too much and ate Christmas food – read eggnog – this week). I am up a bit this week, but am now back on track to continue my downward trend. My end of year goal (down 2# this week) and end of challenge goal (down 12 lbs in 5.5 weeks) are still in reach. And I have this week off and can spend more time exercising and preparing for next week back to work.
I hope everyone had a wondrous Christmas and hope Santa was good to you.

Ok, so water weight is a real and significant thing. Due to busy holiday week, I wasn't able to work out as much, ate what looked good in moderation, and didn't log for 2 days (whoops ) and the result is bizzare but pleasant. 12 lb loss for the week. I'm confused.
Buckling back down starting today/tomorrow with diet and exercise. I'm taking a beach vacation in February (my first in over 20 years!) and want to look great in my swim suit and airy sundresses. I'm thinking for me weight isn't going to be the best indicator of that, but I still think 153 might be doable by February 21st! I'm ready to work hard for it!
Keep it up everyone! Your goals are totally attainable. I'm rooting for all of us! Happy Holidays!

The holidays really were not good for me, and I couldn't even get up the courage to log in here on this harmless community board. Had a great week!
This weekend, I have gotten many chores done (including laundry) and am generally feeling better about myself, which is giving me the energy to be more active! Down 3 lbs this week.
Next weekend, my brother is getting married (small family affair)…so I will be eating out a bit…hopefully I will be able to maintain. Also, I have my Drs. Appointment this Wednesday to check on my cholesterol. I am down 14.4 lbs since I saw him last (and down almost 35 lbs since my last lab check). My labs were drawn last week, and I am getting results this week – so I hope for good news.
Other news, I bought a new pair of jeans this weekend, I am down to a size 14. And this is the first time since high school, that the first pair of jeans I pulled on - fit! (I didn't have to try on a dozen styles, sizes - Just straight forward 14.)

I'm feeling good. Loss is steady and maintaining, no big water weight bounces. Upped my activity level significantly and am really loving how it feels. Two weeks to go! Won't reach my weight loss goal by the end of the month but I've been pleased with my fitness progress, and feel much stronger! Keep working everyone! Everyday is a new day!

I went to my brother’s wedding this weekend. I drove 6 hours each way (on Friday and Sunday) to go and return. As such, I ate fast food, (and candy – didn’t want to admit that one – but we’re being honest here – right?) on the road for two meals, ate out while I was there, and drank at the reception. My weight responded in kind. I gained 1.4 lbs this week. (TMI WARNING: I haven’t had a BM in 3 days, so I am hoping time at home will regulate that and my true gain is somewhat less that the scale shows today).
Anyway today, I am back on the diet/eating healthy lifestyle. And I am still close enough to my end of challenge weight to be able to reach my goal! I need to lose 1.6 lbs over the next week to reach it. I’ll have to do a little extra exercise, but I think it is still reasonable.
