Help! I hate breakfast!

I've always hated breakfast. Never liked breakfast cereals and I can't bring myself to eat porridge, I've tried so many times. A lot of my life I've just skipped breakfast or eaten a sandwich which isn't good. Recently, I've been eating fruit for breakfast but it's becoming repetitive.
Does anyone have any good ideas for breakfast that is good for weight loss? Thank you!

Then don't eat it?8

Eat what you like for your first meal. Or don't eat if you're not hungry.4

Try intermittent fasting. You don't have to eat breakfast. Google IF for details if interested or message me.1

Fruit smoothy, I hate breakfast too
Takes two minutes to make, a few minutes to drink and it's good for you
It's more about the point of getting it out of the way, I've tried to enjoy breakfast and just can't
The drink becomes repetitive but it's over and done with so quick it doesn't bother me1 -

If you don't like it stop doing it!4 -

I need something for energy, the quick breakfast burst does wonders for me, otherwise I'm lethargic AF all morning and cant bring myself to eat real food until closer to 12
I suppose I could just do cocaine or take pre workout for energy but nah2 -
Breakfast is just another meal. It can be anything you want. Anything. Find stuff that gives you a healthy balance of carb, fat and protein, with some essential micronutrients, and you're good to go.
A ham sandwich with a pickle
Macaroni and cheese with broccoli
Clam chowder with a salad
Steak and a baked potato and string beans
Bratwurst with sauerkraut and beer
OK, maybe not beer (although beer was originally developed to be a nutritious grain beverage)
Seriously.
Another thing you could try is bulletproof coffee. You DO NOT have to buy their special "Upgraded" (over-priced) coffee beans, or their special MCT oil. Just use a good full-bodied roast of your choice, brew 12 oz., add 2 Tbsp of MCT oil and 2 Tbsp of GRASSFED UNSALTED butter and blend til smooth. About 475 calories and DEE-lish! I have used this on several occasions and it is satisfying and filling, and I didn't get hungry again for 5 or 6 hours. Fat is good for you!
Good luck!

I don't eat until noon or 1:00PM. Still lose weight and get to eat larger meals when I'm hungry later in the day. You don't have to eat it if you don't want to.
If you do want to, you could just eat leftovers from dinner. We don't know what you mean by healthy or what foods you like, but you certainly don't have to eat porridge or cereal. And you can most certainly eat a sandwich for breakfast if you're feeling it.
Yogurt, smoothies, omelettes, bacon and eggs, pancakes, protein bars
Toast or English muffins topped with ham and cheese, or turkey and avocado, or peanut butter and sliced apple
Leftover slice of pizza
My favorite weekend brunch foods are shashuka or rice with soft boiled eggs, hot sauce, spinach, and avocado

Try Asian, Mediterranean, middle eastern breakfasts. Doesn't have to be american/ western breakfast.
Shashuka
Miso, Tofu, Rice, (fish optional)
also, you don't have to eat breakfast. Though, if you find that you have low energy in the morning when not eating breakfast, eating b-fast could obviously help with that.0 -
If you don't want to eat breakfast then don't. If you do want to eat breakfast but don't like traditional breakfast foods then eat whatever you do like. There is no magic to eating certain foods at certain times of the day.
Just stick to your calorie goals and you'll get there.3 -

Calorie deficits cause weight loss, not special foods. If you don't like breakfast don't eat it. If you are finding fruit alone is causing you to be hungry before lunch pair it with some fat and protein for satiety.3 -
Find a protein shake you like. I don't give myself enough time for breakfast in the AM so a quick shake does wonders for me! I drink it on the way to work and it gives me that boost I need to get movin0

You don't have to skip breakfast. You can set your feeding/fasting phases to your liking

My favorite go-to breakfast is 1 cup of red seedless grapes (you can use other fruits, too. Eat right away if it's apples or pears; otherwise they'll turn brown). Top with 3/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt OR 1/3 c. 1% creamed cottage cheese. Crumble 1 granola bar on top (I use 1 bar out of a Nature Valley 2-bar package).0

There's absolutely no rule saying you need to eat breakfast. If you don't like it don't eat it. Or if you're hungry eat foods you like - you don't need to eat traditional breakfast foods.3
-
I usually eat boiled eggs and yogurt. Sometimes I eat fruit and I always have coffee. But there is no reason to eat breakfast if you don't want to. And you can eat whatever you want. It doesn't have to be "breakfast" food.1
-
Skip it then.
I drink milk for breakfast.0 -

Why isn't this good? Meal timing/meal frequency is a preference thing and will vary between people. As long as you're hitting your daily/weekly calorie targets you can eat however you want-figure out what works best for your schedule/lifestyle and then just go with that2 -

This.
I can't tell from the first post if you like eating in the morning and just aren't sure what to eat (answer, whatever you like eating -- I go through long periods of time when I have things like leftover chicken and vegetables), or if you don't enjoy eating until later, in which case don't. It's totally okay. Just monitor to see if it negatively affects how many calories you want to eat in the day (for lots of people it actually helps).0 -

Can I introduce you to my friends, Señor Valdez and Mrs. Olson?7 -
I routinely eat "non breakfast" food for breakfast...think outside the box...or just skip breakfast as there's nothing wrong with that either.
I had leftover chicken wings the other day.1 -
You can eat any food you want at any time of the day.
If you are not hungry for breakfast in the morning you can also not eat at that time.
I eat things like cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, a sandwich, dinner leftovers, fruit, cereal. I am fond of soup for breakfast.2 -
Eat whatever you want. Never heard of anyone that "hated breakfast". Most people I know would say that was their favorite meal!!0
-
i dont eat "breakfast foods"...alot of times i make a healthy pizza for b-fast or make something i enjoy. i dont care what time it is of the day, i eat what sounds good and fits in my macro's for the day.of if not hungry dont eat!0

I don't do well without something in the morning so I have a smoothie every morning. It's a little tough on cold mornings but generally I love, love, love it and it keeps me going for several hours.
Kale, Raspberry & Blueberry Smoothie:
0.25 cup, Blueberries
0.25 cup, Raspberries
1 cup, Organic Unsweetened Soy Original
1 tbsp, Fresh Ground Peanut Butter
2 Tbsp, Hemp Seeds
1 serving, Bananas, raw
1 cup, chopped, Kale, raw
466 cals--let me know if you'd like the rest of the nutritional info.0 -
I'm not especially hungry in the AM so make a smoothie and sip on it all AM. Takes me hours to finish it. I put it back and forth into the frig. If I still worked in an office I'd have a little cooler by my desk.0
-
Why would you force yourself then ?? I never eat breakfast.0
-
if you dont like breakfast, then dont eat it.0
