NSV - Emotional trip to Target!

A little back story... I used to be be 335 lbs (size 26). I lost a bunch of weight and gained some back. With the help of MFP I have lost it all again am down to 225.

This morning I went to Target to get some black dress pants. I grabbed a pair and headed for the fitting room. Half way there, I realized that I grabbed a size too small. I went back to the rack to get the 16 (which I recently was ecstatic about fitting). I took both sizes to the fitting room. I put the 16s on and they looked good. Just for the heck of it, I put on the 14s to see how far away I was from fiting into them. They fit perfectly!!! I looked it the mirror and immediately started crying! I couldn't believe I was wearing 14s. I haven't fit into a 14 since I was about 14 years old.

What a great feeling!

    Congratulations!!! I know how you feel. I had the same thing happen about a week ago over a size 26/28. I've been in a size 30+ for so long. You are doing amazing!!! :flowerforyou:

    Congratulations! So happy for you. I remember crying when things didn't fit! ): I haven't tried anything on lately that I thought maybe just maybe wouldn't fit, so I wouldn't have to let myself down. I know when I do drop some sizes. I will be crying just like you! Thank you for sharing your story! Makes me look toward the future!

    That is awesome!!! In the old days, when I was heavier, I would just be thrilled to find something that fit and then I would hunt around to find any and every color in that size (especially pants!!). You, my dear, are an inspiration!!

    I did the same thing! I'd have 3 or 4 of the same shirt (different colors) just because I found something that fit and I liked it.
