Started MFP around April '16. Mantained a steady loss for several month. Starting weight was 178 and lowest was 155 around September '16. Felt a million dollars. I don't really have a goal weight but I am working towards life time maintaining at 150 -145. Rather than fad diets and crashes I was super pleased with slow and steady wins the race. More a lifestyle change than a quick fix.

I am now back up to 170

Self sabotage is a crazy concept isn't it! Why on earth would somebody even do what they don't even want to do? I contemplate this often because I work with people who have had terrible health implications because of smoking and drinking and as I listen to them talk I sometimes hear and observe my own thinking and behaviour patterns with relation to my nutrition and activity choices. I don't have any answers except to say that I have done some work on paying attention what I REALLY want and not listening to what I THINK I want. I don't get why there is even a difference, but I now realize there is.

I am also a slow and steady. Come join me and get back into it! Turtles for the win!!!

My nutritionist told me that sometimes we do it because under it all we are scared of change even if it is good. And learning to accept the new image km the mirror can be hard

I work in a restaurant...we have nutella filled crepes as desert. I started eating a little tea spoon of nutella a day( just for the pleasure of it). Now I am eating it daily, like 3 spoons everyday...and I can`t stop, even though I know it is bad for me...I don`t have it in the house, but having it ar work is hard as well....
