I just started a nutritional weight loss shake program and I go to the gym for an hour everyday. I know I am doing great, and eating well, cutting out sodas completely and drinking lots of water, but I weighed myself today and I'm the same weight. I've only been doing this for 5 days but I just feel discouraged.

I'm not sure what your program entails, but "eating well" and exercising every day won't result in weight loss unless you're in a deficit. Have you put your stats into MFP, and logged all your food and drinks after weighing/measuring?

If the exercise routine is new, it may also be some water retention....

Weight loss takes a loooong time. 5 days in, and you're already discouraged. You need a more sustainable diet and exercise regimen.

•5 days is not a long time. You can't expect weight loss to happen instantly

    • Do you know the caloric content of these weight loss shakes? If you aren't eating/drinking at a deficit, you will not lose weight

•Are you weighing yourself at the same time every day, on the same scale? Weight fluctuates easy dependent on a variety of factors. Often a better indication of weight loss on a smaller scales is by taking measurements or going by the fit of your clothing

1)Are you in a calorie deficit?
    2)Weight loss is not linear
