Hey everybody,
I'm a 27 year old mom of 3 who has recently gained almost 50 lbs.! I'm trying to get it back off, but now that it is summer time and the kids are home all day, I'm finding it harder and harder to eat right. My kids eat pretty healthy foods, but they are growing boys who eat almost every two hours. I feel like I spend my whole day in the kitchen cooking or cleaning up after the last meal/snack. I would like to get a group together that I can check in with every day so that I am more likely to stick with my nutrition and exercise plan. Also, new exercises are always appreciated! I have a membership to a gym, but don't seem to be seeing that great of results.

I can so relate. When the kids were in school , I would drop my youngest off at school then drop by the gym on the way back at least 3xs a week. Now that school is out I am finding it harder to make it to the gym. I am still trying to swim and take walks with the kids everyday, but it is diffinately harder. And yes they ask for snacks and something to eat all day long. I would love to hold each other accountable. We can do this0

Hi misscatanzaro,
Also a mother of 3, 2 are boys but all three have very healthy appetites. Trying to work on getting the whole family nutritious while I work on my wt loss (my first goal is 50 lbs off, then we'll see). It is quite a challenge. You can add me as a friend and we'll help each other stay on track.0 -

So glad there's other people in my situation! I can't even blame the weight gain on being pregnant as the kids are my stepkids. However, cooking all the time and staying home now has completely changed the way I do everything! I used to be so active and exercised every day, but now that I'm married and the kids are with us full time I have really packed on the weight.0

i am right there with you! i spend most of my home time in the kitchen too. i have two teen age boys who eat all the time and a 5 year old girl who eats like a bird, therefore it seems she is always snacking on something too. i have gained 50 pounds in the last year as i let my exercising and eating right go by the wayside last year when i got remarried. it was just such a change with my new spouse's schedule and my already existing schedule and routines that i felt i had to let something go and that was my exercising and eating right as my husband is a VERY picky eater who loves to eat junk food and he does, 3 times a day/7 days a week and doesnt ever gain an ounce. i need motivation to get back to being healthy.0
