Coming back!

Hi, my name is Chrissy and I am coming back to MFP after a few years. My husband is trying to lose weight too and I bought him a FitBit for Christmas. I don't have one because I am disabled but have been walking twice a week with a gait trainer (walker with various posture supports since August thanks to my wonderful OT. I can now walk approximately 165 steps and I surpass that number every single time I walk. My current goal is to lose 30 pounds, hopefully losing a pound a week. My Hoyer lift has a scale so it is easy to weigh me and I will start getting weighed every Friday night. I'll keep you posted on my blog, I especially want to blog about my OT progress and gait mechanics so that people understand how hard but joyful it is to walk after 20 years of not walking.
I wish you all luck with your goals! It's NEVER too late
