Life is a mixture of ups and downs. 60lbs lost is awesome. Focus on the positive. You'll soon lose the pound you gained!0

1 lb isn't so bad. How have your habits changed that would allow you to slip back?0

Wow 60lbs. that is awesome! I feel funny responding to you since you have achieved so much and I have lots to go. But this is a whole new week start from today and look back to see how far you have come. That is just so awesome how great you are doing! You go girl!0

It is really hard to stay on track espcially on the weekends. I find that is the time that you eat the worse and never make the time for even a small work out. If you don't have those at home the will support your long term weight loss goal which is to keep it off it will be hard. I have my fiance, my sister (my personal trainer/bootcamp instructor), my parents, my wedding planner and MFP that stay me non-stop. I just had one of MFP Family Memebers tell me I need to do better and that has lit a fire underneath me. Add me as a friend and I will check in on ya b/c that support is essential to watching what yor eating or at least the protions and getting 30 minutes of activity as day in at least. You can do it!0

Congrats on the weight loss. We all come to a plateau or gain here and there. It's time for a change. Doing the same thing over and over will eventually bring you to a plateau. If you would share your diary and exercise, we could possibly help you out.0

Think about where you were vs. where you are. You look amazing! You are beautiful, healthy & STRONG!! You can totally do this, You did not just lose weight, you changed your lifestyle. That is permanant!! I know you feel better, both physically and emotionally, just remember what it felt like 60 pounds ago.. look at some old pictures, and really think about what your life was like, how your body felt, how your mind felt. That usually helps me0

I know how you feel but you can do this! Look how far you have came and every time you think you're about to slip keep thinking about what you've achieved! 60lbs gone that's fantastic

Don't panic! Refocus and remotivate yourself. I force motivators into my daily routine. One thing I do is take pictures of myself, front back and side every morning and I'm working them into a time lapse of my progress. If temptation creeps in I think of how the whole time lapse would be ruined if I started to gain. It also gives me something to look at and remind myself of how far I've come.
Also, don't worry too much about a pound, it's a drop in the ocean compared to how far you've come! I regularly gain a pound or 2 over a weekend and then drop that weight and another pound or 2 on top over the following week.
Keep it up, you're doing great!0 -
I wouldn't worry about 1 pound as long as it is not a trend week after week. Before you know those pounds creep back on and they are harder to lose than gain. Just get back on it this week and let the past be in the past. That's what I try to do.0

Are you eating to enough?

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/61706-guide-to-calorie-deficit
This is just a part of it! please read the link above
Generally someone with a BMI over 32 can do a 1000 calorie a day (2 lbs a week) deficit
With a BMI of 30 to 32 a deficit of 750 calories is generally correct (about 1.5 lbs a week)
With a BMI of 28 to 30 a deficit of 500 calories is about right (about 1 lb a week)
With a BMI of 26 to 28 a deficit of about 300 calories is perfect (about 1/2 lb a week)
and below 26... well this is where we get fuzzy. See now you're no longer talking about being overweight, so while it's still ok to have a small deficit, you really should shift your focus more towards muscle tone, and reducing fat. This means is EXTRA important to eat your exercise calories as your body needs to KNOW it's ok to burn fat stores, and the only way it will know is if you keep giving it the calories it needs to not enter the famine response (starvation mode)

Weight fluctuation is perfectly normal, a pound could be lots of things. You've lost 60 pounds! You ROCK! :-)
You've received a lot of great comments and great advice. All I can really say is that you've come this far, accomplished this great feat of losing 60 pounds, you can definitely keep going!0 -
Thank you everyone for all of your support add me on to your friends lists! I've gotten my sweet tooth and all ive been eating is sweets I have been eating 1,200 cal a day for a while and my weight has been fluctuating alot I just need to pull in more than 2 workout days a week! I did an uptake to 1,350 cal a day starting today and hoping it still helps - it's just so hard now I'm back to pre pregnancy weight and my metabolism is not the same after gaining 100 lb a week from eating Oreos and what not very often
I hope I can get back on track!
