Found this list, think it's a great way to visualise how much you have lost. Especially when people say they have 'only' lost a pound - that's a guinea pig! LOL. I've lost the chemical additives an American consumes each year (odd!).
1 pound = a Guinea Pig

2 pounds = a rack of baby back ribs
3 pounds = an average human brain
4 pounds = an ostrich egg

6 pounds = a human’s skin
7.5 pounds = an average newborn

10 pounds= chemical additives an American consumes each year

That makes me feel a lot better, actually. I've lost a car tire. 0_0
Or 22 guinea pigs, which I think is a much more entertaining way to look at it.
Or two house cats (though only one of the cats we used to have).0 -

Haha! This is excellent. I've lost a 2 year old!
Before now, I've measured against my starting weight. So my 25lb is equal to 13% of my starting weight. Losing a 2 year old certainly makes me smile.0 -

I'm at 10 dozen large eggs, but I was thinking about this very thing this weekend while we were out on our bike ride. I told my husband that I thought the ride was getting easier, and it must be because I've lost 15, which is the equivalent of trying to ride my bike with our fattest cat on my lap...0
