41 with 42 to lose!

Hi everyone,
I'm 41 from Ireland with a lot of weight to lose (42lbs). I'd love to find friends in a similar position for encouragement and motivation. Please feel free to add me x

    Greetings from NL. You will do just fine. Commit yourself and stay with it. There will be ups and downs but if you persevere, you will get where you want to be.

    Welcome :-)

    I've got a lot to lose also.

    1 lb at a time and it won't feel like such an uphill battle. A pound is 3500 calories so in a week, that's just 500 calories each day to drop.

    You can put 250 on food, 250 in the gym or walking.

    We got this!!

    Nancy, great way of looking at it:)

    Breaking it down like that - bit by bit - makes big goals much more attainable.

    I'm gonna do 250 now - gotta walk dog and he needs some new chewy things. Walk to store instead of drive or bike.
