Hi everyone,

I'm two weeks into eating healthier and exercising so I'm still learning.

In the same boat. It seems cardio can be tracked but I'm confused about resistance work. I enter my stats and get a number of calories burned, but it won't let me "enter" it so that it affects my daily journal....

If you are using the web version, you can not add an exercise from the EXERCISE > Database page; that page is for searching and getting estimated Calorie burns at differing body weights.

Navigate to EXERCISE > Exercise Diary and add and exercise to Cardiovascular to add the estimate to your Diary; MFP will then use the number of minutes and your current weight to add the estimated Calories.

You have to add "Strength training (weight lifting, weight training)" to the Cardiovascular section to get an estimate for Calories burned.

Thankyou CyberTone! I'll give that a whirl.
