Nice weather, a good view, and plenty of sunshine. Bonus points if there's a nice place to throw down the yoga mat.

I hate gyms, so, maybe minus a lap pool, I'd just prefer to be able to walk, run, and cycle outside.

For me, it would probably lean more toward the cardio side of things ...

    -- treadmill
    -- Concept2 Rowing machine
-- a better trainer than I have now (not that mine is bad ... in fact it has been surprisingly good and durable) but I'd like to be able to have it be somewhat more realistic and hook up to Zwift
-- a spin bike ... just for something different
    -- a lap pool

My dream home gym would include:

    A high end treadmill
    A good rowing machine
    A very good spin bike
A 25 yrd lap pool or an endless pool

    A dumbell/barbell set

    and a Sauna

Luckily the gym I am a member of has all of these.

I have an old bowflex ultimate that will be departing soon, dumbbells, chinup bar, TRX, elliptical and a weighted vest lol. Gotta start somewhere.

I'll be researching home gyms, adding a bar and plates and maybe a dip station.

Whatever decent I can fit into my cold, dark basement.

    In New England lol.

I'll be adding to my equipment tomorrow. Dicks Sporting Goods has a $189usd deal on a 300 lb weight set.

This will be my first foray into heavier weights in 30+ years. This will be interesting lol.

My dream home gym would include a fully landscaped indoor running and cycling track. I think I would need a much bigger house. I am pretty happy with my full rack, barbell set, and bench. A lower bench and a well reinforced floor would be nice. I am absolutely terrified of accidentally dropping a deadlift through my OSB floor. If I had more space and a good floor a set of bumper plates could be fun.

Edit: The indoor track would have a pool and a hot tub too.

    Trap/Hex bar & squat machine
Dreaming of building one for now, but maybe in 10 years? Getting by with the basics for now (adjustable dumbbells, pull up bar, & desk treadmill)

What would you include in your dream home gym?

I currently have a setup in a spare bedroom, but it is very tight. My husband and I have decided to finish part of our basement in order to move the equipment down there.

    Equipment I already have:
Power rack PPR200x power rack with chin up bar
    Rogue barbell
    Rogue bumper plates
Assorted old iron plates in lower weights
    Powerblock dumbbells (5-50 lbs)
    Incline bench
    Foldable reverse hyper
Very very old treadmill (would replace this)
    Assorted resistance bands
    TRX

The space in the basement is pretty large. What else would you add in your dream gym?

Carpet, a big screen television with full surround sound audio, fans, mats under all the equipment - oh wait, I already have all of that. >:)
