The default setting for your protein is only 15% of your total calories. Most people do eat more than that. I changed my settings so that my protein allotment is 30% of my calories just because I could never keep it under what the default suggested.
As long as your meals are balanced and you're staying under your total calorie goals, you should be fine.0 -
Protein should be at least 30% of your calories, Shoot for 1 gram of protein per each pound you weigh. This will feed your muscles and keep your body from breaking down your muscles for fuel.
Also I saw this site suggests going under your BMR, that's too low just shoot for 100-300 calorie deficit a day.0 -
Hey,
I just read this post and went into my goals to change my protein intake to 30% as well.
It automatically reduced my fat allowance by a lot, basically reduced it by half.
Why is that? :ohwell:0
