What works better a digital or dial type scale and what brands and why are they usually the best? I think I want a new scale! ours is an older dial type scale!

I prefer digital WiFi scales because they make it really easy to sync my weigh-in data with my weight trending app and MFP. Most all scales are inaccurate to some degree. What's most important is that you weigh yourself with the same scale, at roughly the same time of day (first thing in the morning after you've used the bathroom, for example), whilst wearing the same type of clothing.2

I always go to www.consumersearch.com to find reviews on all kinds of things so you might try that. I personally have a weight watchers scale and it works great for me - I think I got it at target about 8 years ago. One recommendation I have is to be sure to get a scale that measures to the tenth because that tenth lost sure does help to keep you going rather than giving up.1

I've recently bought a new food scale and a new bathroom scale-both Taylor brand and I'm very happy with them. Inexpensive too ($13 for the food scale and $20 for the bathroom one).0
