Wanting to lose the post baby weight while breastfeeding. What is considered a healthy calorie intake range while not sacrificing the nutrients and fat my body needs to produce milk.

A lot depends on your weight, height etc etc. I'm eating about 2000 calories a day, I'm 34, exclusively breastfeeding an almost 6 month old, I weigh about 192lbs. I'm going to start eating a little more as the weight is coming off faster than I expected, as I have lost just over 10lbs in 3 weeks.1

Calculate what your maintenance calories would be if you weren't breastfeeding. Eat that. Then the breastfeeding creates your deficit - about 500 cals/day for 1 pound/week loss.
That said, don't try any deficit until your milk supply is well established.

I found it too hard to BF and be in a substantial deficit. I was so hungry all the time, and my supply suffered a lot. So here I am 1 year out and just getting back to it. Good luck and if it doesn't work out right away don't stress. There is time to lose the weight.0
