While at the zoo today we purchased some fresh honey from the Bee Exhibit. I would love to know Healthy ways to use it. I read that this is extremely healthy and can be VERY good for you.

What do you do with your Honey Honey :)

One of my favorites is summer squash (the kind doesn't matter so much), sauteed with a bit of butter, with a few drops of honey and some mint flakes, and a bit of salt an pepper. On a bed of rice pilaf cooked with turmeric, almond slivers and raisins.

The honey doesn't show calories, Low or high? The label is just that of a simple "Fresh Honey"

I'm a bit odd. I love to put it in my water that I drink during work outs. Just a tbsp in a 1 liter bottle, shake until the water looks . . . weird, and all the honey is dissolved. Then drink away while you run / bike / walk / lift / hike / whatever. And Honey is pretty universal on calories I think. 60 calories per tbsp.

Very simple. Use honey in absolutely ANY situation that you would ordinarily use sugar.

Totally love it in tea and oatmeal as well. I also use it as a glaze for oven baked or pan fried fish! Works really well with salmon, along with lemon juice and dill!

I'm a beekeeper and use honey to the extreme! Its great on apples, bananas, in smoothies, drizzled on cereal, even in coffee. I use it a lot to make lip balms and salves also, that I sell on esty....

i have a cup of warm water, honey (1 tsp) and lime (1 small) every morning, a little before my workout. It kick starts the metabolism, warms your body up and makes skin glow.

Also u can use some in plain yogurt for a facial, helps firm the skin :)

Honey with your morning cereal and milk is good too.

I use it to make my homemade granola (honey, oats, walnuts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon). Let me know if you want the recipe. We eat it plain, a snack before or after the gym,or with greek yogurt. I like the crunch! Have to be careful to eat in moderation.
