I second the above post. Garcinia cambogia is yet another product (in a very long list) for which there is no real evidence that it actually works. It does however, makr a lot of money for people who are happy to sell it to naive folks

Yup to the above. Yet another product where scientists showed that a massive amount of it in rodents had a small effect and the media and moneymakers grabbed that with both hands and ran with it.

    Scam.

If you want actual scientific information on it minus all the hype and advertising from the people trying to sell it:

I actually took this when I started my journey in feb of last year. I got it from Kroger and it was garcina cambogia and coconut oil pills. I took it as directed 1 pill with a full glass of water 30 minutes before each meal. It did nothing to suppress appetite. As for making you fill full I really don't think it was that but more of drinking a bunch of water before eating. But I can tell you it is great to help with growth of hair and nails lol but agin that was probably just the coconut oil in them. Lol as the others said save your money and if you want to purchase something that will help you get a food scale.

I tried it a few years ago when I was just starting to lose weight and was struggling with being too hungry -- it did absolutely nothing. I was annoyed but not super surprised as I had ignored lots of advice to not take it due to its uselessness!

Coffee is the best appetite suppressant, I've found. I blend decaf and regular and don't drink it after 2 pm as I am quite sensitive to caffeine; but I do drink a fair amount of it around breakfast and lunch and find it usually does a decent job of helping me feel less hungry.
