    Trust and work the program. Practice determination (motivation is fickle at best). Log everything even if it puts you over your goals (we won't judge).

    Most importantly this is a training tool to help you develop healthy habits for the rest of your life. It's not a "diet".

    I am trying to lose 30lbs... Started 3 weeks ago and I am down 6lbs.... I have stayed in track but it gets hard.
    Just looking for support.

    Make sure not to push yourself too much. As @Acrosno said, you will follow this for the rest of your life.
    Give yourself some time and try choosing healthy food you like eating and enjoy your new lifestyle.

    I personally do not like logging my meals. I prefer making it a habit without having to use an app.
    I only log my weight every week. that way I have something to look forward to.

    Anyways, this is what I usually do. I'm sure someone else might add something more valuable.
