Hello, everyone! I'm Breanna, pleasure to meet each of you! I'm 5'10", 352 (350.8 this morning!), and I'm looking to look at LEAST 75 pounds in 2017. I'm not going to kill myself to get down to "ideal" weight (around 190), and instead am going to rely on my instinct and go off my own happiness. I do want to lose about 130 pounds altogether, and hope that I can make a few good friends along the way. This journey is anything but easy and we can all benefit from support, yeah? Are any of you looking to lose a large amount of weight? HAVE any of you? Please feel free to add me as a friend here so we can follow each other's progress and bounce ideas off one another! Thank you!

Hi Breanna! I'm in about the same boat. I need to lose well over 100 lbs. I've lost about 32 lbs so far use MFP. I've been trying some since around October, but really got serious in December. I haven't posted much in the forums; however, just reading everyone's posts has helped me a lot... especially the success stories.1

I'm 5'2" and weight 228, but I'm 52 years old. First have you talked to your doctor to find out what calorie intake he wants you at. Mine Bariatric surgeon has me at 1200 daily. Carbs are what kills me. Personally, I am having the gastric sleeve done on March7, 2017. Tired of trying to lose the weight. I need a final fix, reset and retraining. It's a life long commitment, but I am so looking forward to this.
Find an excercise you like and sticking it. My plan and goals are to walk 3-6 miles with my dogs 2x daily and work up to running. Hoping to actually run a 5k this fall. Maybe a 10k next Spring and have been thinking about a half marathon.
Either way it's not just counting calories, but how we think and see food. This is one thing I have been learning on this journey. Also, if people around you are not going to be supportive, Including Family. You might need to have a heart to heart talk or avoid them for a short time.1 -
I have just under 100 pounds to lose. I've had a semi-decent amount of success in the past with MFP, and quit and gained it all back. This time I want to go all the way. I'm 41 years old now. At least half of my life is gone! I want to spend the other half in good shape! Add me if you like!1
