    guy works for his rich father-in-law but feels mistreated, so he has his dear wife kidnapped. It all goes south and the local cops piece together the clues. It's cold outside.

    She was beautiful but poor and troubled and this Rich old guy her Mom dated was all about her and tried to buy her love and she wasn't about to have it. then war came and then she fell in love with this married Dr guy but he was still in love with his wife but yet in love with her and then he disappeared one day after a war battle and got stranded in the snow and one day he showed up at her doorstep freezing and almost dead then they had to run because the old guy that loved her from before was threatening to turn the guy in for abandonment and then they ran away together and stayed in a House of ice and then he had to go back to his wife and children but they were gone. he still wanted her and then one day she had to disappear to avoid persecution so he conspired with the old rich guy to get her to safety. they got separated and years and years later after the war was over he thought he saw her so jumped off a moving trolley. he was frail, distraught and sick and had a heart attack before he caught up to her and died right there in the street. the end
