I second this!! (Imagine that... 2 Texas dudes stepping up to the plate first to help out! High 5 CJ! Chest bump! Booyah!!)
Welcome Leslie! This place is awesome! Filled with tons of great information and even more awesome people than you would ever know what to do with. The great thing is, we all know how to motivate the heck out of each other! All you have to do on your part is 1) log in daily; 2) stick to your plan; 3) Do something everyday! Even if its a 20 minute walk around the hood; and 4) dont get discouraged when you dont see immediate results!!
Remember: this is life changing attitude, NOT A DIET!!!! So get that evil 4 letter word removed from your vocabulary!
Sending a friend request to you now!0 -
Welcome home! I like saying that because this does feel like home.. especially after you become friends with people and they genuinely care about how you are doing and how your day is... just keep in mind its not an instant fix its a journey daily.. and you can do this.. I'm sending you a request0

Hi Lesley,
Dealing with stress as a single parent of a child with health issues is tough. Trying to be healthy yourself is tougher still. However, the healthier you are the more available you will be to help with your child. We have a friend who's daughter has CF. She is getting ready to start college in September.... So, talk with your doctor about a referral to a nutritionist to help you develop a plan that fits your lifestyle. Goos luck and God Bless.0
