So...I don't know what's going on. I was down to 446.2 then jumped up to 448.2, now I'M DOWN TO 448. Getting a little frustrated I can't get below 445. Should I just completely cut out all salt? Been drinking about 85 oz of water....my salt in take is supposed be about 2000.....I usually go about 1500. All of this with about an hour a day of walking, and then I do some light resistance band training at home when I get off work. Plans for a gym.....just money is tight right now so everythings kind of a pain right now.

Weight loss is not liniar, it never will be.
How long have you been in "plateau" ?
A true stall/ plateau is 6 to 12 weeks. Just keep at it. Keep at a calorie deficit, it will happen!

Without a lot more information, it is impossible to tell you what happened. Are you eating at a deficit? How much? For how long? Etc. BUT, what you describe is well within the normal daily variation for someone your weight (or even much less). Most home scales aren't even accurate enough to distinguish .2 pounds variance.

Assuming you are doing the right things, what you should do is relax, take a deep breath, realize that this is a long-term process, and stay the course. Log your meals daily, maintain a daily calorie deficit, and get some physical activity daily. If you can't handle seeing the scale go up and down daily, weigh yourself weekly. If you do those things, the weight will go. If you make them a habit, it will stay off.

From what you wrote, my guess is that you are eating at a deficit and it sounds like you are getting some exercise daily. That's great. Gyms are good, but not necessary for losing weight. The most important thing is to eat less calories than you burn each day. Accurate logging of your meals and portion control are key. As is determination. Lots of people have lost lots of weight here. Stick with it and you will too.

We need salt to live, so cutting out salt completely is a bad idea. Reducing salt will result in some weight loss because salt helps retain water in the cells, but that only goes so far. I've encountered people who thought their extra weight was all water weight. If that were possible then maybe reducing salt would have a more significant impact, but it isn't. Eat less, move more and the salt related problems may take care of themselves.

I eat about 1500 to 1700 calories a day, and try to stay within my goal limits. MFP says I should be eating about 3000 a day.....but....something doesn't sound right about that. But I'm no expert. I am amping up my movement though, walk every other hour for 15 minutes, since I have a desk job. General thing seems to be I'm eating more then I burn, just gotta get a bit more active. Sucks working till 4 XD

If you weigh 445 pounds 3,000 calories a day absolutely sounds right. I started at 397 and around 2,500 calories a day. I lost pretty much as expected with that

How long ago was the 446.2 weight? And are you consistent in your weigh-ins, meaning same time of day, same level of clothing, etc.? Weight can fluctuate during the day due to the level of food/drink in your body.

Every morning pretty much when I wake up. But glad to say all the advice everyone has given me.....actually helped. I calmed down, did some walking last night, drank plenty of water, just put it out of my head completely and this morning.....was down to 445.

That is excellent news, you should eat the numbers you've been given, and it's more likely to be sustainable.

    Also, just for information: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/of-whooshes-and-squishy-fat.html/

I found when I had an 'unexpected plateau' i.e. not overeating, I very much had whooshes
