I have never ran or jogged so, this may take longer than 9 weeks for me. Does anyone care to join me?

I actually thought about doing the same. I want to give myself at least 2 months of eating better before starting. I am hoping to start Sept. Let me know how the first weeks go.

I'm on week 7 now. This program has been immensely helpful as before I would just run without a goal or destination. The app for the phone ROCKKSS!!

I loved it! I was not a runner either when I started it but measure your inches before you start because I lost them so fast! You will want to know the before and after, not just weight but inches! I have to admit that after about week 8 I stopped tracking, but still saw great results! Good luck!

The program is awesome! I'm on week 4. It really eases you into running and if you pace yourself, stretch, stretch and stretch again (before and after) and listen to your body, you will do great and surprise yourself at what you will acccomplish each week.

    Good luck!

I just finished week 1 for the 3rd time. I never could make myself stick to it (though I sprained my knee the 2nd time round...and I was almost to week4!) However, I love the program, and I signed up for a 5K in October to have a goal to work toward. Also, I did week 1 for 5 days instead of 3 to help build up my initial endurance. Good luck! It really is a great program.

Your right i never use to stretch after working out and never took it serious before working out but it makes a huge difference

I have been debating on doing this & would love someone to share the ups & downs of it. I had two surgeries on my ankle last year so I too may need longer than 9 weeks. (I am thinking of doubling the first 4 so that takes 8 weeks)

    Feel free to add me!

I just started last Friday. I am on day 2 of week 1. It is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I have never ran or actually excercised much...and I can do it!! I was excited!! Let's do it together!

I want to encourage you all to start the program. If you have ever had the slightest urge to run or jog, this program will help you to amaze yourself. I finished it on June 17, and I'm still jogging, 35 minutes, three times per week. I truly went from couch potato to jogging in 9 weeks. I am now working on building my speed.

The confidence I gained from making progress with the running program helped me to stay confident about staying within calorie limits. I didn't wait until I lost the weight, just went ahead and did it...so glad I did! Now I've added strenght training two days per week.

Good luck to all starting this endeavor...just do it!

Just start!!!! I am running 6-7 days a week now... never finished C25K... got to week 3 and then just went for it... I have now ran or walked over 300 miles and burned over 43,000 calories. All since March 16th of this year. I run 2.6 to 3.5 miles everyday and if I walk, it's over 4 miles.

If I can do it!!! YOU can do it!!!

    Good luck!

I want to join in on this, I'll be starting in the morning, going to walk down to the high school and work around the track. I was hoping to find a C25K group.

I got mine done last night. Let me just say WOW and OUCH!!! My calves felt like they were going to explode. Today only my neck and back are sore but, I would say that is from my chest so, I will have to double up on the sports bra tomorrow.
