Friends that like to comment and share

Hi guys,
I've spent seven days straight on MFP, and in the community. My favorite thing is to come back online and see that people have commented on my posts, sharing their insights, motivating me, telling me good job, and offering various feedback. The people that make those comments are the ones that I am excited for when I see their name on my notification bar!
Another thing I really like is when people share their experiences throughout the day. I feel that if you share your successes and challenges every day, or every few days, it is a good way for people to help you along the way to succeeding in whatever your goals are.
So I am looking for like-minded individuals that are willing to share their experiences through the app, and in return, I will try to comment and offer feedback/encouragement/sympathy to meaningful posts. I am happy to be an active and engaging friend, if you're willing to do the same.
Guys, we are in this together, and talking about aspects of your journey are important. We are a group of highly motivated individuals that are dedicated to changing (or maintaining) our health, whether it is for looks, health, or to break boundaries. Feel free to add me, so I can motivate and inspire, or for you to do the same for me!

Also, I really like it when people set up their profile on MFP. I feel like people who spend more time here are more willing to do what they need to to lose the weight and get healthy!3

Add me, open diary is what works for me you know not just you can see it, makes you think twice about eating something you shouldn't or it does me.

Thanks for all the posts guys! It's nice to have a more engaging group of friends. I think people are less likely to quit when they are actively posting about their day and motivating others. You might get a message from me too if you haven't logged in for a couple of days! ;D2

I joined a little over a week ago and rarely get replies when I post/comment. I do think feedback makes a difference. You're right, we are all in this together even if we are doing it for our own reasons.
I'm a 43 mom/wife and I joined the local gym 9 days ago. I am staying focused and determined right now but I believe we can use encouragement when we are up as well as when we are down.2 -
I am also looking for the same thing - sent friend requests to everyone here except for two I am already friends with. I am having an issue posting pictures and I'm going to try a fix tonight, but I love leaving motivational quotes daily and posting my thought and feelings.1

I tend to ebb and flow with feedback and sharing. It's a personality thing for me, and I've noticed I tend to be more active when there are people who are okay with that and keep trying to interact occasionally when I'm in my "ebb" stage. It was a friend like that who sent me a message after I'd been gone awhile encouraging me to get going here again. So I'm back, and am in the flow of things. No hard feelings if you (generic everyone 'you') don't think I'm a good fit for your circle or decide to boot me when I'm in the "ebb"

Active friends does make it easier for sure. It isn't always about advice or tips either. Sometimes it's just nice to know you aren't the only one who blew your goals for the day. Log it, laugh it off and move on. We're human.
I'm fortunate in having a really active bunch of good folks on my friends list, always commenting and joking and supporting, with the exception of one or two who never comment.

Absolutely. The constant back and forth is pretty engaging most times, and it just make you want to come back for more and stick with it.
