Hello my name is James I just married my kids mom of 7 years Dec. 2 and now looking to give her and our kids somebody they can honor and appreciate. I have been over 230 pounds since I was 19 and I am now 30 yr. Hopefully I can stick with this thing. Anyone have any experience and results they can share to help motivate??

Welcome to MFP! Congratulations on both your new wife and your new life! Logging in to MFP regularly and eating at your recommended daily calories is a great start. My advice is to start with logging all of your food and beverages...be accurate. Invest in a food scale, you can get them for about $15 on amazon so it's not too bad. Make adjustments that you can live with...be a role model for your family.
I look forward to following your journey!2 -
