You have to lose weight to lose belly fat. I know you don't want to hear that but it's true. Sometimes the belly is the last place you lose. I know it was for me. After you lose a little more you'll see the belly start to shrink. Then you can do exercises to tighten.0

Agree with dls06 - you cannot 'spot reduce'. Fat loss (cardio) is how it's done ...0

My stomach was the last to go. Blame your genetics. I lost in my chest, legs, arms, butt...everywhere and then my stomach. You can't spot reduce... just keep decreasing overall fat % and it will eventually get the hint. lol
I also suggest doing strength training if you aren't already. It will help you not only become strong, but transform the appearance of your body and make you a fat burning machine! My 'go-to' resource is bodybuilding.com/exercises0 -
Thanks everyone i still have 60 lbs to go .... so far with 40lbs lost i can see the inches down when i try on my clothes hardly anything fits anymore ..... I think the belly will be last to go as long as it goes , I'm working out 6 days a week i know that will help.
Thanks again0 -
I lost alot with the 30 day shred... Cardio is a good way to lose fat but strength training builds muscle which also speeds up your metabolism and will help you burn fat faster and will also help tone your body and make you look over all healthier.0

I agree with everyone here - but muscle toning and ab work (core) WILL take inches off the belly area because it will tighten that area... I've seen it happen with me - I won't get a six pack until I lose the weight by ANY means - but since starting that I've seen 3 inches drop (in 6 or so weeks) even though I went up 6-15 pounds when starting the strength training...
So while you cannot target fat loss you can target strength toning0 -
Just keep at it! I thought I would never lose this c-section belly looking blob, but it has actually gone down! It has taken about 4 months of a lot of cardio but it has started. I would like to thank the 30 day shred for starting to shred my belly a litte!0

Today i started back the 30 day shred so ill see how that goes .. I'm on level 2 cause 1st level is to easy , I also had a c - section but that was 10 years ago now i need this belly gone
Appreciate all your info0
